AntConc

AntConc has more features than TextSTAT, and probably the same features offered by Wordsmith, but free (and it doesn't crash my computer like Wordsmith does).

You can create a word list via the word list tab:

And search for terms on the Concordance tab:

Clicking once on the search term on a line above brings up the source file with the word in reverse video and other occurrences of the same word also highlighted.

It also provides collocates (which it calculates automatically). This screen is probably only useful with a larger corpus than the one file I used to create these screen images.
